A film described as a 'hilarious gem' by viewers will soon hit UK cinemas - and it already has an impressive near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes rating. One of Them Days stars Disney's Keke Palmer and musician SZA as two friends who are left in dire straits after their rent money is stolen. They are then against the clock to get enough cash together in time in order to avoid eviction. The film's official synopsis teases: "Best friends and roommates Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are about to have One of Them Days. When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.".

Elsewhere in the cast is Maude Apatow (Euphoria), Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Janelle James (The Garfield Movie) and comedian Katt Williams (Norbit). Meanwhile the Emmy-nominated Issa Rae (Barbie, Insecure) is on board as producer, with Lawrence Lamont in the director's chair. The flick has already been released in the US, and it will land in UK cinemas on March 7. It currently enjoys a 95% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences awarding it a solid 91%.

So far the majority of reviews have been glowing. One viewer gushed: "One of Them Days starring Keke Palmer and SZA is a hilarious gem that truly exceeded my expectations. The plot is refreshingly simple yet executed so well, proving that sometimes less is more when it comes to great comedy. I never realized how much we needed a movie with Keke Palmer and SZA until now—their chemistry is incredible, and their comedic timing is flawless.".

Another fan of the film described it as 'pure comedic gold', adding: "From start to finish, the plot had me laughing out loud. It perfectly captures those chaotic, relatable moments where everything goes hilariously wrong.". A third viewer shared: "I love the storyline. Two beautiful Black women trying to grind and fight every life obstacle that comes their way. It’s very funny and great entertainment. Makes you laugh and makes you realise how friends are always good for each other. I recommend seeing this movie if you’re looking for a good laugh and comforting moments.".
