Viewers of Flog It were left gobsmacked when a collection of rare tribal art, including an Aboriginal shield and an African spear, fetched thousands at auction, far exceeding the expectations of the owner and her grandson. The BBC One show's host, Paul Martin, introduced Anne and her 11 year old grandson Lewis, who was spending his school holidays witnessing the excitement of the auction room. They had no clue about the windfall that awaited them.

Anne's assortment of tribal treasures sparked a bidding war, leaving her, Lewis, and Paul Martin astonished as the prices soared well beyond their modest hopes of a few hundred pounds, perhaps a thousand at most. As the bids climbed higher and higher, the trio watched in amazement, their jaws dropping as the final tally reached staggering sums.

Paul Martin kicked off the segment by saying: "Going under the hammer right now we have a little group of Afnaigraphica. You're probably thinking what the hell is he going on about?" reports the Express. He continued, prompting Anne for an explanation: "What's Afnaigraphica? Well, Anne can tell us, can't you?" Then turning to the young boy beside her, he asked: "And who have you brought along?".

Anne introduced her grandson, to which Paul responded: "This is Lewis," and then greeted him with: "Hello Lewis, shake my hand. And how old are you?". "11," the timid lad responded. "11, so are you on your school holidays right now?" his grandmother echoed: "Yes." Paul then explained to Lewis: "You are one of the reasons Anne is selling her Afnaigraphoica - we're talking about tribal art.".
