It's time to go back again (again) as Fortnite OG prepares to end one season and roll into the next one, bringing with it some incredibly important items to help players survive the brutish island. Fortnite OG returning to the game as its own standalone mode was a gamble for Epic Games. Of course, Fortnite OG has always been a massive draw for players, with the first OG season offering players the chance to return to day one with blistering effect, and now that we’ve moved past Fortnite Remix Chapter 2, we’ve seen that its success wasn’t limited to a one-time hit.
To deliver it to players at all times might have been a bit much for some, but so far, the arrival of Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 has only given players more reason to log into the game every day. Plus, with the return of Renegade Raider to the Item Shop, it’s clear that Fortnite isn’t messing around with its pledge to return those ‘good old days’ to players in search of them.
But change is around the corner, and even though it’ll pull the Fortnite OG mode closer to where Fortnite stands right now, it’s likely to be good news to most players, not least that Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2 will bring Mini-Shields with it, thank goodness. We have to see the end of the current season first, though.
With that in mind, when does Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 end? Here’s what we know about the season changeover date for Fortnite OG. The Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 end date is Friday, January 31, at 7am GMT / 2am EST, or Thursday, January 30, at 11pm PST for players on the West Coast, with Epic Games confirming the end date in a blog post when the OG mode first became available.
