'I found a human head outside my house - it's seared into my mind forever' A woman found a human head outside of her Wayne County home and the image is ‘seared into her mind’.
Shareka Smith called the police on November 20, when she stumbled upon what appeared to be a human skull, on land just behind her home.
Shocked by what she’d seen, Shareka explained that she had no idea how long the skull may have been there, but added that it was her dog Boscoe who brought it to her attention.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office have said they don’t know how the remains got there or how long they had been there for.
She told ABC11: “When I came and seen it I thought it was like Halloween decorations but then I thought my God, it’s got to be a human head.".
