A MUM has revealed how she made an entire Christmas dinner for four for just £3.50 each. December 25th is now just around the corner, and many of us are excitedly making plans for festive feasts with family and friends. However, with budgets tight for many this year, some of us may be struggling with the often hefty costs of putting on a Christmas spread.

Heron Foods have answered our prayers though with a £13.99 Christmas dinner deal that feeds a family of four. The deal comes with six sides, including cauliflower cheese, carrots, sprouts, pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings. For the meat, you can choose from gammon, turkey or Quorn, meaning that you have everything you need for the perfect festive feast.

Busy mum @uknewestfoods, grabbed the turkey, and one of each of the sides, and headed home to cook her feast,. She unwrapped the turkey, covered it in foil, and popped it in the oven at 190 degrees for one hour and 15 minutes. Then, she prepped the sides and cooked them, so that everything was done at the same time.
"This is all about convenience and spending less time in the kitchen on Christmas Day and more time with the family," the mum said. "It's quick and easy, and it's an absolutely brilliant price!". Once everything was cooked, the mum plated it up, and noted that whilst their wasn't enough for four adult sized portions, it was perfect for two adults and two children.
