A NEW year, new you doesn’t mean a complete wardrobe overhaul - you only need to make a few tweaks. Beit florals for spring or knitwear for autumn, somethings in fashion never change and I for one can’t keep up with spending hundreds on the hottest new trends.

However, there are new micro trends that are set to be huge for 2025 and they’re already creeping their way into high street shops. From the must have colour to latest IT bag shape you can get ahead on the year to come without wasting your wages. Here, Fabulous’ fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals the must-have trends you’ll need for the year ahead that will transform your wardrobe for less.

Whilst jeans shape remains the same, barrel jeans are still going to be seen everywhere, the way we’re styling them is different. This season transform your wide leg, baggy denims into turn ups. And for this look size doesn’t matter, whilst deep turn-ups pairs are a hit from jean trend-leaders, Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good - as only as it's just one single fold.

Finally our jeans will be out of the puddles. But if your jeans are neatly the length of your legs already, don’t worry because the high street is awash with the style already. I tried the new New Look, £39.99, 'Adalae' jeans and fell in love. They're the perfect length on me, a great fit and super comfortable.
