I’m a 64-year-old gran but I’m still trying for a baby with my husband, 26 – it’s failed before but 2025 is our year

A GRANDMA married to a 26-year-old has revealed she isn't giving up hope to have another child. 64-year-old Cheryl is married to Quran Mccain, 26, and the pair have been trying for a baby for the last year. But the couple seem to have faced hurdle after hurdle in becoming parents.
While Cheryl already has seven children older than her husband, she still wants to become a mum again. In the past, the loved-up couple have tried surrogacy but it hasn't gone to plan. Last year the pair suffered from their fourth surrogacy fail after the surrogate decided to keep the child.
The pair claimed the woman is now also in prison and has substance abuse issues but they were forced to use her egg rather than Cheryl's due to her age. But the timings of the conception date also didn't line up. Doctors estimate the baby was conceived on March 5 but the official insemination procedure did not occur until March 12.
The pair paid for a DNA test but the surrogate failed to turn up on the day. "So what does that tell us? That's not our baby," said a defeated Cheryl. Despite the bad news, Cheryl and Quran took to social media to say they would still pursue a family in 2025.
Quran said: "We have been saving up cause we still are pursuing our family. "We're gonna have a baby regardless if we adopt it or we do it the professional way. "So, you know, at the end of the day, we're not giving up.". Fans of the couple shared their thought on the post they shared on TikTok (@oliver6060).
