Kim Kardashian and her family were evacuated from their homes as the LA fires continue. Fires have torn through California, affecting areas including the Hollywood Hills, Sunset Boulevard and reached areas such as Malibu – just 60 miles from where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live. Since the fires broke out, at least 10 people have been confirmed dead. Forecasters believe that the situation will continue to get worse as heavy winds build up.

Authorities are currently monitoring five fires, with the largest two - one raging in Palisades and another in Eaton - having torn through a combined 34,000 acres of land. Sources have told the Mirror that the Kardashian-Jenner family had safely evacuated their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills after a fire broke out on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura on Thursday, which started to spread threatening dozens of homes in the areas. However, the evacuation order around Calabasas and Hidden Hills has since been lifted according to local news outlets.

Santa Ana winds saw the fire consume 960 acres of bushland by 5.30pm on Thursday, with local officials saying it was continuing to spread, as well as threatening homes in the Malibu Canyon area, north of the 1010 Freeway close to Calabasas. In a statement, the local incident commanders said: "The challenging terrain and persistent winds complicate suppression activities, necessitating heightened vigilance from residents and adherence to directives from local authorities.".

Airplanes had continued to soar across the skies, dropping water on the fires in an attempt to put them out. Meanwhile, Los Angeles Police Department have since remanded a man in custody on suspicion of arson in the Woodland Hills area, five miles from where the fire was ignited. They stated that they couldn't connect whether the suspect was also linked to the Kenneth fire.
