Mikel Arteta responds to Arsenal transfer link with Marcus Rashford Mikel Arteta has refused to be drawn on Arsenal’s link with a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
Rashford was left out of United’s matchday squad for their 4-3 defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Thursday evening, however, Ruben Amorim says the forward is available for his side’s Premier League clash at home to Bournemouth on Sunday.
When asked if he believes he could reignite Rashford’s career at Arsenal, Arteta replied: ‘No, and you know that I’m not going to talk about players from other clubs.’.
Arsenal have been placed as third favourites by bookmakers behind Paris Saint-Germain and the Saudi Pro League to sign Rashford in the January transfer window.
However, Arteta refused to fuel speculation over a potential move to Arsenal during his press conference on Friday.
