When you head off to bed with your partner, what's your sleeping arrangement?. Many assume that if you're in a relationship, you and your other half will sleep in the same bed, even if they snore and fidget the night away and have an impact on your sleep. After all, you'll put up with it because you love them, right?.
However, some couples have started to do what's right for them rather than adhering to societal norms, and sometimes this includes having completely different bedrooms in the house that they share together. One woman took to TikTok to show off her unique sleeping arrangement with her partner.
TikTokers @kacieandchristian wrote over the top of the nine-second clip: "Point of view: You and your boyfriend live together but have separate rooms". She captioned the video saying that she would "10/10 recommend" the sleeping situation that they'd adopted. Kacie showed off her adorable Hello Kitty-adorned bedroom, complete with a huge white dream catcher, a Hello Kitty plush cushion, and plenty of pink accessories - but it was incredibly tidy and quite minimalistic.
She then walked down the stairs to Christian's room, which was significantly more jam-packed with stuff, and was quite a lot more messy than Kacie's. The colour scheme was a lot more drab and plain than his girlfriend's, and the clothes rail was messy and full of items.
In the comments, people were left wondering how their "love life" is if they sleep separately. Someone wrote: "I support people who do this, but in my opinion, I could never do this. I need the comfort of my partner to sleep. Plus, we can still have space but sleep together in the same room". Another added: "Omg I do this and I thought that we were weird".
