Sunday Brunch viewers say the same thing as Gladiator star leaves fans distracted

Viewers tuning into Channel 4's Sunday Brunch were intrigued to find out that hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer would be chatting with Gladiator legend Nitro on the programme. But it wasn't long before fans flooded Twitter with their bewilderment over Nitro's choice of attire, raising eyebrows for donning his Gladiator getup.
One baffled viewer quipped: "Is it contractual obligation of a Gladiator, that they have to dress like one on every show they go on? ! Nitro on #SundayBrunch." Another chimed in with: "Why is he dressed in gladiator clothes.". The head-scratching continued as someone else posted: "For god's sake! Let Nitro go get changed." Someone else wrote: "I understand he's a Gladiator, but he has arrived in his work gear. Plus, he's an ex-100 m sprinter, and he should have just worn normal clothes. Imagine if an actor came on as their character wouldn't happen, would it.".
The comments kept rolling in, with one viewer adding: "Did Nitro from Gladiators need to be dressed in his show outfit on #SundayBrunch. Lad looks ridiculous, bless him. Stacked, of course, but ridiculous.". Meanwhile, one person said: "Ooh making me cold looking at Nitro. Put some clothes on you'll catch your death.".
As the show got underway, Tim pointed out that Nitro, actually Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, was all oiled up for the occasion, cheekily suggesting he might slip off his seat, reports Birmingham Live. With curiosity piqued, the Sunday Brunch presenter asked whether the well-known BBC athlete liked to cook. He replied: "I am a MasterChef finalist out here, you know what I mean!".
