Traitors fans pinpoint 'real winners' of series after finale backlash and divisive twist

Friday night's highly dramatic final night of The Traitors saw Faithfuls Leanne and Jake take the win, splitting a staggering £94,600. However, it was hard luck for fan favourites Alexander and Frankie, who were banished during the endgame, despite both being Faithfuls themselves.
Out of the final five, Charlotte was the only Traitor left, but was banished at the roundtable after the Seer twist. The twist saw Frankie revealed as the Seer on Thursday night’s episode after winning the challenge. This meant she had the power to find out any player's identity.
She chose Charlotte who ended up being a Traitor, and although it was unsure whether the players would believe her because of Charlotte’s clever ways, they did. Unfortunately for Frankie, Charlotte's claims that Frankie was lying and the fact that her identity wasn't revealed at the final roundtable saw Leanne and Jake struggle to believe she was a Faithful, leaving to her banishment at the final endgame hurdle.

It’s the first time the BBC show had introduced the Seer twist, and although many loved the drama, some weren’t big fans. One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "I love it, but I don't know if I agree with The Seer, as it undoes all the traitors' hard work in an instant.".
