Wayne Rooney was pictured supporting his wife Coleen at her pop-up shop in his first public appearance since he was let go by Plymouth. The Manchester United icon was appointed as Argyle’s new manager back in May and led the club to just four Championship wins all season. A statement read last month: "Plymouth Argyle can confirm that the club and Head Coach Wayne Rooney have mutually agreed to part ways with immediate effect.
"Departing the club with Rooney will be Assistant Head Coach Mike Phelan and first team coach Simon Ireland. First team coach Kevin Nancekivell and Club Captain Joe Edwards will lead the team for our Sky Bet Championship match against Bristol City on New Year’s Day. Daryl Flahavan will continue as Goalkeeping coach.
"We would like to thank Wayne and his team for all their efforts and wish them well for the future." And now, on January 9, he was pictured with his wife Coleen at her Applied Nutrition pop-up shop in Liverpool One. The WAG had a meet and greet with fans as she promoted her new venture with the health and wellness range.
He was seen by her side providing moral support as fans gathered to meet Coleen. He had his hand on her shoulder as he proudly watched her work. The footballer, Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, rocked a simple black sweater and a plain navy coat for his wife's big pop-up event.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Coleen shared her excitement about her health and wellness range on social media. She said in a post: "So excited that my @appliednutrition health and wellness range is finally here. It’s taken a long time but we wanted to make sure it was right, we’re so pleased with it.
