The Coronation Street actress who found fame as Sarah-Louise Platt back in 1999 is no stranger when it comes to leaving her fans blown away. Her latest social media post is no different as she and her children whisked themselves away for a lavish family holiday. But during their time away, the actress found time to capture memories with her two children, including actress Scarlett, 16.
Tina, 41, looked sensational as she and her Waterloo Road actress daughter struck up a pose for a selfie in front of a huge mirror. The pair are often branded lookalikes due to Tina's youthful complexion. In a snap which Tina shared on her Instagram Stories, the actress oozed sophistication in a striking red dress which tightly wrapped around her physique. She completed her look with a pair of black heeled shoes and a small Gucci bag, which she held in her hand. Making the most of their sun kissed break, Tina opted for a more natural make-up look with a touch of lip gloss and highlighter on her chiselled cheek bones. Her blonde tresses were swept off her face and styled naturally.
Meanwhile, Scarlett who appears alongside her uncle Adam Thomas in the BBC One school drama rocked her brunette locks in natural waves as she chose an outfit similar to her mother's, consisting of a red top and matching dress for their outing. The pair offered a similar pose as they both pouted towards the camera. Both Tina and Scarlett have an extremely close bond and often take to social media, sharing amusing clips of one another. One clip in particular saw the Issy Charles actress miming along to Muni Long's Made For Me, while Tina was attempting to relax at the dinner table.
During the clip, the lyrics: "Nobody knows me like you do, nobody gonna love me quite like you," played before Scarlett leapt up and wrapped her arms around Tina, with many branding her "ageless." And it appears that talent is certainly running through Scarlett's veins thanks to her two actor parents. She often shares clips on social media of her singing, delighting viewers as she puts her vocal abilities to the test. However, things have become strained between Tina and Scarlett's dad Ryan Thomas in recent months following a fall-out. Due to this, Tina was noticeably absent from Scarlett's 16th birthday party, which sources claim Ryan had arranged and paid for the full evening.
The Sun claimed that Tina was nowhere to be seen due to the tensions between the former couple who split in 2009. A source told the outlet: "Scarlett had her party at Barca Bar in Manchester. Her dad Ryan was there keeping an eye on things, but mum Tina was nowhere to be seen. "Ryan paid for and organised it, but because things are still tense between them Tina gave it a miss - nobody wanted a showdown." However, it later transpired that Tina had been hoping to pop in and say hello but her filming schedule with Coronation Street had overran, meaning she was unable to oget away from work.
