The Gunners remain in the mix for 18-year-old Rosenborg star Nypan, with Manchester City also linked. Nypan watched Manchester City vs Chelsea on Saturday with his father and his agent. He was also expected in attendance at Aston Villa's draw with West Ham on Sunday.
The teenager made his Rosenborg debut as a 15-year-old, in the process becoming the Trondheim club's youngest ever player. It remains to be seen whether Norway and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard can help convince his compatriot to choose North London.
