Pens and paper at the ready, as it’s time to note down your predictions for another series of The Masked Singer UK. Taking part in 2025 is Bush, who made their debut performing for judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, and newbie Maya Jama.
Their costume is truly adorable, adorned with green ruffles, pink flowers, and the cutest pair of beady eyes. With plenty of clues in their VTs suggesting a love of gardening, the panel has already thrown out some strong guesses… but who do you think is behind the mask?.
Could Bush be Charlie Dimmock? Or perhaps a former Doctor Who companion? Let’s investigate…. Davina McCall threw Catherine O’Hara’s name into the mix straight away. She noted that the ‘best bush in show’ trophy could be a reference to the comedy/drama Best in Show, a film released in 2000 in which Catherine plays Cookie Fleck.
As for the judges’ wig and gavel, Davina noted that Catherine played a judge (Justice Strauss) in Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. Catherine is a renowned Canadian-American actress and comedian, having become famous for her work on Second City Television and Schitt’s Creek.
She’s also appeared in films such as After Hours, Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone, and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The second guest judge of the series, Vicky McClure, put her AC-12 hat on and got to work dissecting all the clues, leading her to believe Charlie Dimmock could be behind Bush.
