Drag Race winner Tyra's ex-pal issues furious 'promise' over vile The Vivienne tweets

RuPaul's Drag Race stars have publicly called out Tyra Sanchez over their disgusting posts following The Vivienne's death. Tributes have been pouring in for drag star The Vivienne, real name James Lee Williams, after they died aged 32 over the weekend. Amid the outpouring of love, Tyra took to social media within hours to share a string of vile tweets written in response to a 2020 post by The Vivienne.
Almost five years ago, The Vivienne had written: “Bet Tyra was fuming when she Realised Netflix Spoiled the win Too. Sorry gal. You Tried though.” Adding a new response, Tyra penned: “Yet it doesn’t compare to the fumes of the crematorium." Tyra has carried on amid backlash as yesterday posted a photo of a crematorium with the words ‘songs I would play if I owned a crematorium’ while Alicia Keys' Girl on Fire played in the background.
In response to the shocking posts, drag star and disgusted former friend Kandy Muse issued a threat. "I've defended you for years but now you can absolutely go f**k yourself and if our path were to ever cross it's absolutely on sight b**ch, it's not a threat it's a promise. You disgusting person.".
Fans have also been outraged at Tyra's posts. One person raged: “You are so f****** disgusting.” Another added: “How sad that you once had the status of a queen and now you are just a despicable vagabond hungry for a pitiful show, laaaaaame.” Someone else commented: “Girl, you were too scared to reply when The Vivienne was alive so you had to clap back after they had passed? You’re sad get a life.”.
