EastEnders' Spencer Moon actor Chris Parker's unbelievable new career 22 years after soap

Christopher Parker, who played the lovable Spencer Moon on EastEnders, first captured our hearts when he arrived in Albert Square over a decade ago. The character made his first appearance in Walford in 2002 alongside his older brother Alfie Moon (portrayed by Shane Richie), and they lived in The Queen Victoria with their dear Nana Moon. At just 19 years old, Chris quickly became a hit with fans. From a one-night stand with Vicki Fowler (Scarlett Alice Johnson) to being blackmailed by Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Spencer certainly had his fair share of drama during his three-year stint on the soap.
The troubled character even ended up in jail after being framed for a drug stash mishap. Spencer stayed on the BBC soap until 2005 before Alfie sent his younger brother to live with their cousin Maxwell in Australia to keep him out of trouble. Since leaving the BBC soap, Chris has traded acting for a successful career in law. Now 41, the actor graduated from Birkbeck University in London with a law degree, and as of October 2022, he is reported to be a senior consultant at a London-based law firm.
Before this dramatic career shift, Chris tried his hand at TV presenting. He was a contestant on The F Word, became a CBBC continuity presenter, reported entertainment news on This Morning, and even had a role on Hotel Babylon's second series in 2007. The former EastEnders pin-up also spent two years in the US, working for TMZ and co-hosting Dead Famous Live with Gail Porter in Los Angeles. Chris has been relatively low-key in recent years, but he's no stranger to reality TV and notably took part in the debut series of Strictly Come Dancing, where he was a runner-up to Natasha Kaplinsky, reports OK!.
