Netflix subscribers are excited for a hit drama's return to the streamer, however, there are questions ahead of the premiere of season four. Sweet Magnolias is gearing up for its grand return and the wait is nearly over as it's poised to make a comeback, much to the delight of eager fans. It’s been over a year since we last savoured Sweet Magnolias' delights in season three, but now series four is set to sprinkle its Southern charm from Thursday, February 6th, rolling out on Netflix.
Expect another run of 10 episodes, all set to drop together, perfect for those who love to gulp down the whole series in one sitting. Already, X (formerly known as Twitter) is buzzing with elation as fans can hardly contain their joy. "I can't believe this show is airing on Feb. 6th! ! I'm excited!", gushed one fan. Another was clearly moved by the trailer, sharing: "The trailer has sent me. I can't imagine the state I'll be in when the season starts.".
Someone else shared: "I really enjoy this show its one of the best ", while another enthuses: "So excited, can't wait". But not all fans are over the moon about the build-up – some are getting antsy due to the lack of spotlight on the popular 'will-they-won't-they' couple Ty Townsend (Carson Rowland) and Annie Sullivan (Anneliese Judge), affectionately dubbed 'Tyannie'. Season three saw Ty state that he would be taking a gap year as he and Annie shared an intimate moment holding hands in private, partly confirming that there could be more to their friendship.
Disappointed by the lack of confirmation, one fan expressed their impatience on X, commenting: "Only 4 days left but still no Tyannie", while another eagerly posted: "Waiting here until tyannie pictures". An additional comment read: "Can we some Tyannie content today for s4?", with another sharing a sad GIF and writing: "Still waiting for Tyannie". Rowland's involvement in season four is currently up in the air, as he's only credited for one episode on IMDb.
