Stranger Things fans have been given a sneak peek at the upcoming final season after filming officially ended. The science fiction horror drama series was released in 2016 and quickly became one of the most popular shows on Netflix, a title it’s held over the past eight years.

The most recent season 4, which was released in 2022, has amassed a jaw-dropping 140,700,000 views, making it the second most-watched Netflix season of all time. For the uninitiated, the show is set in the 1980s and follows the residents of the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana, as they are plagued by a hostile alternate dimension known as the Upside Down.

It stars Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink, who play Will, Elle, Dustin, Lucas and Max. After a year of filming, season 5 is now over, with fans also treated to some snaps from the set.
