Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced they have finally figured out who the celebrity hiding behind the Bush mask really is. Celebrities including Kate Garraway, Carol Decker, Prue Leith and Mo Farah have already been uncovered on this series of the fun talent show, and there are still eight celebrities determined to stay in the competition as long as possible.
Performing on Saturday 25 January were those final eight, including Bear, Wolf, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Pufferfish, Snail, Teeth and Bush. Bush has already been the subject of fevered guessing from fans, with one theory explained earlier in the week on Reddit. "So I think many of us believe it's Natalie Cassidy, people are talking about the number 9 on the door and it being a reference to inside number 9. 'She's not in inside number 9' no she's not BUT she is in Psychoville, another (underrated) show by the Inside number 9 boys Reece and Steve," one eagle-eyed Masked Singer fan pointed out.
Natalie also appeared on the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother, which could lead back to the ‘9’ clue. However, on her Off The Telly podcast she told fellow presenter Joanna Page: “Can you imagine me doing that?” and denied she was Bush. Other names suggested for Bush include Morgana Robinson, Scarlett Moffatt, Stacey Solomon and Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning, and on Saturday fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their latest guesses.
New clues on the show about Bush’s identity included a university acceptance from a Dean and another clue that hinted of an Australian connection. Bush took to the stage and sang the Madness song Our House, and fans were convinced after the performance that Bush was definitely Natalie Cassidy.
