Black Bear Burgers offers The Classic which was a regular burger with cheese, burger sauce and shredded pickles, the Black Bear which included smoked bacon, onion jam and garlic mayo and a Briskit Burger which used beer braised briskit alongside their beef patty.
As I sat down, I was presented with a blackboard-esque menu featuring their four burgers: The Classic, the iconic Black Bear, the Briskit Burger - and, finally, the burger that I had travelled in such anticipation to try, the Miso Bacon Burger.
Last week, Stewart Down won the acclaimed National Burger Of The Year Award for Black Bear Burger's signature Miso Bacon Burger.
Black Bear Burger won the top prize at the National Burger of the Year award earlier this month so I went down to one of their London locations to see if it was worth the hype.
The winning burger featured two 45-day aged beef patties, cheese, smoked bacon, miso butter mayo and onion sandwiched between a sesame seed bun.
